Thuy Van Do
Thuy Van is fluent in Auslan and semi-fluent in Vietnamese sign language, and an NDIS participant. Being Deaf herself she is uniquely positioned to offer compassionate and sympathetic support to her own community and has spent decades trying to empower up her fellow members of the Deaf community in Australia. When she isn’t working, Thuy Van loves adventures, travelling overseas and eating all different types of food.

Tash Sauer
Growing up in the Deaf community, thanks to her mum being a lifelong Auslan interpreter, created the perfect segue for Tash to be working in the Deaf community. With a strong background in office management, booking Auslan interpreters Australia-wide, and working in the Deaf community as a NAATI-qualified Auslan Interpreter, provided Tash the knowledge, experience and skills to support you on your NDIS journey. When Tash isn’t working, she enjoys relaxing at home with her husband and her fur babies or catching up with friends and family.

Larissa Burns
Larissa’s journey into Auslan and the Deaf community began during her social work degree when a lecturer encouraged learning a second language. After completing her final placement with the Deaf Society of NSW and years of community work, she taught community services and disability at TAFE for 15 years. Now pursuing her master's in social work, Larissa enjoys bushwalking and outdoor activities with her family when not studying.

Bunny Kloos
With a strong organisational and administrative background, Bunny is the go-to person for getting the paperwork sorted. Empathy for others has been a guiding principle for Bunny from a young age. Bunny thrives in her role at My Gain, where she enjoys working as part of a team to help NDIS participants access the supports they need to enhance their everyday lives. Her strong family connection to the Deaf community has also provided her with the opportunity to expand her Auslan skills. Outside of work, she loves cooking wholesome traditional foods for her family.
Interpreter Bookings Lead
Melanie Williams
Mel spent the first 13 years of her working career as a hairdresser, where she honed her communication skills, learning the importance of connecting with and understanding people. Following a career change, Mel has dedicated over a decade to working as an Auslan interpreter bookings officer, igniting her passion for the Deaf community. This passion led her to study Auslan, completing up to a Diploma of Auslan. Outside of work, Mel is a proud mum of two young adults who keep her very busy. Her perfect night involves staying in, chilling to music, and enjoying a good old pack of Twisties.
Support Coordinator
Erin Dunstan
Erin brings a strong background in administration and organisation, along with personal insight into disability through her sister's journey with Rett syndrome. This personal insight, combined with her professional skills, makes her an empathetic and effective coordinator. She has completed up to a Diploma of Auslan, enhancing her ability to support the Deaf community. Outside of work, Erin enjoys time with her family, loves all things potato, and has a passion for musicals.

Neva Milton
The grass never has time to grow under Neva's feet. Neva's passion for travel has taken her on numerous trips around the world, with Hong Kong as her favorite destination. Growing up in the Deaf community, she learned Auslan as her first language and became a NAATI-qualified Auslan interpreter. As a mother of a child with an NDIS plan, Neva offers unique insights into navigating the NDIS. When not working, she enjoys time with her kids and planning her next adventure.
Support Coordinator
Rose Sully
Rose is a dedicated Support Coordinator who ensures every client feels valued. With years of experience in the Deaf community, she has strong skills in understanding their unique needs within the NDIS. At home, Rose enjoys cooking Thai food, watching comedy shows, and relaxing with her cat. She stays active with walking, yoga, and dancing, keeping her energized for her role.

Trudi Krenske
Trudi brings over a decade of experience as an Auslan Language Model to her role as a Support Coordinator at My Gain. Growing up Deaf in a hearing world, Trudi has a deep passion for supporting children to get the best start in life, which she now extends through her work with us. Trudi’s journey began when her parents, eager for her to communicate effectively in both the hearing and Deaf worlds, encouraged her to learn sign language, as well as to speak and lipread. This blend of skills and experience has shaped her approach to supporting clients and understanding their needs. Outside of work, Trudi enjoys CrossFit, exploring mindset growth, and family time.

Melissa Emanuel
Melissa is Deaf and deeply committed to supporting the Deaf community. With first-hand understanding of the barriers her community faces daily due to limited access and awareness, Melissa is passionate about making a difference. She finds fulfilment in helping others achieve their goals and feels a sense of accomplishment when she assists people in professionally organising their space, creating an environment that empowers them to thrive. Melissa loves her family and has an adventurous spirit, always open to trying new things. She brings a warm heart, a keen eye for organisation, and a genuine drive to make a positive impact. Though she may seem shy at first, Melissa’s passion shines through in everything she does.
